Jérôme Pansanel is Head of the SCIGNE facility at the Hubert Curien Pluridisciplinary Institute, a platform delivering digital services for research and education. As such, he is an active member of LCG France, the French contribution to the international collaboration building WLCG. He is also collaborating with the French Institute of Bioinformatics, the French Elixir node.
Since 2014, he is technical director of France Grilles, the French research infrastructure that operates Grid and Cloud Computing.
He also had participation in several FP7 and H2020 funded projects related to e-Infrastructures, with a strong focus on distributed computing infrastructures, including e-Science grids and clouds.
He was recently appointed by the University of Strasbourg to integrate the Data Science Initiative working group, interacting closely with the Open Science working group.
In the Architecture Working Group, Jérôme will bring his experience in federating distributed infrastructures, interoperability and autorisation frameworks.
