Sanja Halling

Sanja Halling is a Senior Research Officer at the Swedish Research Council, working on a task from the government of coordinating the national work of introducing open access to research data. This work includes summarising the eco-system on open access to research data at a national level, and encouraging good research data management and implementation of the FAIR principles. Sanja is leading a working group to coordinate the national efforts related to data management plans, in order to support increased open access to research data. Coordination of open access is closely connected to the work of the Swedish Research Council on facilitating register-based research in line with the FAIR principles. Sanja has previously been working with national coordination of open public sector data, digital access to cultural heritage and been involved in several European expert groups and projects.
Sanja brings to the working group long experience of working with open access to various types of data, standards, interoperability and digital infrastructures.
