The EOSC Symposium 2021 Report is out!
The EOSC Symposium 2021 provided a key engagement opportunity for the EOSC community after the European Open Science Cloud finally entered its highly-anticipated implementation phase in 2021. Delivered online to just under 1,000 EOSC stakeholders from over 63 different countries, this was not only the largest EOSC Symposium yet, but it was also an essential opportunity for convergence and alignment on principles and priorities.

The EOSC Association for regional and national communities: interviews with the Board
EOSCsecretariat.eu supported and coordinated the Communications Task Force, involving all the four regional projects namely the EOSC-Nordic, EOSC-Pillar, EOSC Synergy and NI4OS-Europe, which reached out to the President and Directors of the Association in order to collect precious insights relevant to regional and local Open Science communities across Europe.
The EOSC Association is looking to expand its operational staff in Belgium and are accepting applications for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO), which will play a key part in contributing to the growth of the Association and the implementation phase of EOSC. Deadline for application 1 September 2021
The EOSC Association brings together key stakeholders in the European research environment such as research funders, service providers, representatives of the research community, and intergovernmental organisations to agree on strategies for the advancement of Open Science and for optimising the conditions for research outcomes to benefit European society.
