EU-funded cloud project launches EUR 600 mln IaaS+ tender
The EC announced that a new call for commercial cloud providers has been published by the EU-funded OCRE (Open Clouds for Research Environments) project. Under the terms of the IaaS+ (Infrastructure as a Service) tender, bidders are invited to apply for funding for services designed to better interconnect commercial cloud platforms with the European research community. One of the main objectives of the project is make the selected services accessible through the service catalogue of the European Open Science Cloud.
