Genomics: data sharing needs an international code of conduct

Since Pan-Cancer Analysis of Whole Genomes (PCAWG) began, several other international genomics projects have tured to the cloud (see 'Cashing in on clouds') including The Human Cell Atlas, an international project to create a reference map of all human cells1, and the Euorpean Open Science Cloud, which is for researchers and professionals in science, technology, the humanities and social sciences.2
